So today has been pretty much awesome.
Started with this:
Lefty!
Kashi + Almond Milk + 1/2 naner + Berries
Filling!
Nevertheless, I am never one to turn down food. My stomach was growling again, by lunch anyway. I mean Kashi is filling, but for 4.5 hours?
So I made a salad.
Salad + Egg.
This was SO good. Sometimes I forget how much I love eggs. I love them a lot.
And now for the question asked by all: What is a snack with no peanut butter?
Not this one, judging by the picture. Graham crackers + White Chocolate Wonderful = winner, winner.
Speaking of the peanut butter, it came in my Bloggie Secret Santa gift I got last Thursday.
Whoever you are [as my Santa chose to remain anonymous] THANK YOU! This is filled with all the lovely things I enjoy. I would say I can’t wait to dig in, but as you can see I already did.
After work I went to yoga with Kasey at Y2 Yoga, where we met up with Emily + Amanda. It was just what I needed tonight; an hour and a half of hot yoga. I am SO TIGHT. I had the hardest time with some of the easiest poses, and I kept slipping on the balance poses. One time I even got my right and my left mixed up. So embarrassing. Alas, I survived, and shall be back! Kasey and I got the month special, so we plan to make use of it. Many more trips to Y2 Yoga in our future!
Once home, I made a quickie dinner of:
[Righty!] EGGS! [told you they were delicious today!]
Unfortunately, my eyes were bigger than my stomach so only half of this was consumed.
Along with a gulp of sparkling grape juice…
[finished the bottle!]
and a mug of hot tea!
Stacey gave me a mix of fruit teas for Christmas, and although I am not a huge tea drinker [coffee!] I do on occasion enjoy it, and this black cherry blend hit the spot!
Thanks for pointing me in a new beverage direction, Stacey! I think I just may become a tea drinker after all.
What’s your hot beverage of choice?
Coffee? Tea? Hot Chocolate? Cider, maybe?

Breakfast looks scrumptious!
I love all those drinks. Lattes are my fav, tea is showing up in my diet much more, and I love a hot cup of cocoa once ‘n a while

I’m for sure a tea gal… yummm!!
COFFEE ALL THE WAY!
some may call it an addiction..
i love the eggs!
fairly certain my salad today was out of that exact bowl. ok, not EXACT.. but exactly identical! i love you dinner and your cute penguin mug! i pick water, but coffee comes in second and tea third. xoxo
salad w/ hummus and a soft egg is my heaven.
Are you reading ‘The Shack’? Can we be e-mail buddies about this?
Coffee, Coffee, and Coffee!
And that hot yoga sounds blissful…I really good use some loosey loose- along with a deep tissue massage, that would be nice
Coffee, hands down. But always decaf.
Your eggs do look yummy.
I get on egg kicks, too! Sometimes I just CRAVE them!
you’re welcome
glad you liked it! I always view tea as a good before-bed drink..it seems to calm my nerves…yoga sounds great!
I don’t think there is a better snack in this world than Grahams and Pb! Especially white choc. wonderful PB!
Glad you had a great day with a wonderful yoga session. Sometimes, yoga just makes life more enjoyable.
Have a wonderful and fantastic day beautiful girl!
Mmmmm I adore hot cider! If I’m having a coffee beverage, I usually opt for a latte or espresso. I just can’t handle the acidity of a big mug of coffee!
that is a great way to start off the day
I love tea! My cupboards are stocked with about 20 different variations of flavors.
I’m a coffee girl as well. I’ve yet to find a tea I can stomach.
Great job sticking with the yoga even though it was tough!
Mm I love my coffee in the morning but for evernings and afternoons I love tea! Less fruity flavors though, more like pumpkin or gingerbread or chai, or one of my favorites is Chocolatey Chai. Yum!
This post has got me craving eggs now!! Love them too!
I’m a hot cocoa girl! Or a misto. But it is the season for Hot Butter Rums also.
jillian michaels approved! haha
i wish we had some kashi in this house. bo ring cheerios won’t be the same.
i’m tryyyying to switch to green tea in the morning but i’ll forever be a cawfee girl. maybe i drink it just so i can say it in my new yawk accent?
eggs are for sure on the menu for me today!
Coffee coffee and more coffee
Although I do occasionally like tea if it’s late in the day. and I love cider but I never have it.
Not a big coffee drinker, but I do enjoy tea every now and then mmmm..blackberry. And I am always down for some hot chocolate! It hasn’t been cold enough down here in Florida for any of this stuff though!
bloggie secret santa is adorable – what a great giftie!
Coffee for sure! Although I do love hot chocolate with tons of big fluffy marshmallows!
Coffee, but since I can’t drink it due to my heartburn….TEA!!!
Also, I have been dying to try that PB….
Is that The Shack that your tea is sitting on?
Wonderful book!
you know I love eggs
Oh, I love it all: good coffee, good tea, hot chocolate. As long as it’s tasty, I’ll drink it.
I’m just catching up on all the posts I missed over Christmas, and I just want to say that you are amazing girly. I hope your foot gets better soon and that you do whatever you want to do to be happy and healthy – those are what matter the most. ((hugs))
White chocolate wonderful- yum! I went to a yoga class last night too and it was great! I haven’t tried hot yoga yet, although I am dying to.
I love coffee in the mornings and tea in the afternoons when I need a pick me up! I don’t discriminate against hot caffeine deliciousness
I have realllly similar bowls- mine are from ikea! They are so shallow though, using them for oatmeal is kind of awk
Coffeeee all the way for me!
I love both coffee and tea. Usually I’ll just go for 1 cup of coffee in the AM and then tea throughout the day.
That way I get the best of both worlds!
Kashi Go Lean Crunch is always so damn good, right? Love.
I also almost shared this tidbit yesterday, but I guess it’s more aesthetically pleasing to have the bulk of images in the upper left quadrant. I have no idea why The Golden Mean stuck with me from Visual Communications 140, but it did. If you look at my pics, you can see I don’t pay attention to that. As long as it’s not blurry, I’m good. I have no idea why I felt compelled to share that.
I love coffee the most. I drink tea, but if it’s the morning, I drink coffee from 9am till noon.
fabulous Secret santa gift!! so many goodies in there
I get random cravings for certain kinds of tea too, I am not a huge tea drinker but when I am craving it i have it! needless to say I have such a wide variety of Teas at my house!!
have a great day gal!
oh and hot drink of choice-COFFEE!!
yummy! those eggs do look good. hot yoga sounds awesome as well. maybe because i am sitting hunched over a desk in a cold office, but still
I’m definitely a coffee lovah.
And I get my rights/lefts mixed up at yoga all the time!
YAY! LOVED seeing you at yoga last night – such a great surprise! We should plan a regular weekly yoga date
I love your penguin mug!
And I go between phases of coffee and tea.
Your mug is adorable, and eggs for dinner sounds fab! I am a big coffee lover, but this post makes me want to give tea a try:-)
Eggs are seriously great any time of day!! Especially on toast with laughing cow wedges
And a snack is NOT a snack without some pb in it.
I drink coffee in the morning (black with a bit of sweetener) and then tea if I want something hot any other time of day…loving Sugar Cookie Sleigh Ride at the moment, but Lipton also makes some great flavored Green or Black teas!
Eats look great!
Great gift from your secret Santa!
Jenna
I love tea but coffee will ALWAYS have my heart…especially my early morning heart
I love eggs too. It is one of the many reasons why I could never go vegan. Besides the fact that I eat yogurt every day of my life haha.
CUTE MUG!!!!!
COFFEEEEEEEEEEEE! i love it. can’t help it. slightly obsessed.
and yay for eggs – i didn’t eat them for awhile, but am totally LOVING them lately! so versatile!
I love the chucks in your banner since I work at Converse!
Happy Day,
Katie
Love your breakfast! I’m a huge coffee drinker, but I just recently became a big tea fan, too. I used to hate it! I love holiday teas, like Bigelow’s ginger snappish and egg noggin’ tea. Also sweet rose tea and sugar cookie sleigh ride. I sweeten it with a little stevia and it’s delicious!
We both love some hot cocoa!! Although we used to love coffee, but have try to cut back. Never been much of a tea drinker, but try to have some occasionally!
chai tea is my love <3
although, soy chai lattes are pretty damn good
Hey Whitney!
I hope you had a wonderful Christmas and a Happy New Year!
I just got back from vacationing and I just realized that I did not put my name on your Christmas card! Haha, silly me!
I was your Secret Santa, sorry for keeping you in the dark about that! I am so glad your gift made it to you, as I also realized I wrote a different address! But so happy you received it. Hope you enjoy and LOVE the blog!
